No!!!!!

The Albanese Government has released a future gas strategy, proposing gas to be part of the transition to net zero emissions and this being reason for new gas fields. This thinking is now 5 years out of date in light of the capacity of renewables to power all our needs.

And thank you!! (but ACT NOW)

Our MP Jerome Laxale and several other ALP backbenchers have spoken out against this stating that “the government should seek to switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy as soon as possible. Email Jerome to say a) thanks for speaking out and b) this new ALP policy is a huge let down on the part of the Labor government and throws into question their commitment to seriously addressing climate change. His email address is jerome.laxale.mp@aph.gov.au a CC to the PM anthony.albanese.pm@aph.gov.au

Australia’s first solar garden is now connected to the grid! This co-operative project is a solar energy plant with community members buying panels, which also earn them income.
