MOOCOOBOOLA

Thanks to all our supporters who came by our stall at the annual Hunter’s Hill festival. As a result of the day almost 50 letters were written to local Federal MPs asking them to end their opposition to the Clean Energy Act, in light of the fact that 75% of businesses paying the tax don’t want it repealed, preferring market certainty.  See pictures.

In fact the target should be doubled, given the need for rapid transition to wind back warming. There is an urgent need for submissions from community members asking for a doubling of the 2020 Renewables target. A submission can be a one sentence letter http://climatechangeauthority.gov.au/submissions
